Bidding Opens at 2PM ET March 27th
Bidding Closes at 5PM ET March 30th
I. Searching the Auction Site:
You can simply scroll down through the items and select any item that interests you or you can view by category on the right of the screen. You cannot bid on the item in the category view. You must go back to the main page to bid. Some items may appear in more than one category.
II. Bidding on the Items:
A. There are two ways to bid on an item:
1. Select the individual item.
a. Each item has a description, a minimum bid (starting price), and a bid increment (the minimum amount you must increase the bid price if you want to outbid the current high bidder – you may bid more than the increment at any time), a picture of the item or a link to the donors website and an underlined link to bid on the item.
b. Just click on the link.
c. Just fill in the fields and enter the dollar amount of your bid (don’t use the $ sign).
d. Please make sure you use a valid email address and phone number.
2. Select the link in the upper right corner entitled “Bid on any auction item”
a. This will bring up a spreadsheet view of all items.
b. Just click on the blue highlighted text “click here to enter bid”
c. You can remain in this view and bid on other items or shut the window and go through the items individually from the main page.
d. Remember – don’t use the $ sign – just enter the amount you wish to bid
III. The auction will complete at 5PM on Sunday March 30th. An email will be sent to the highest bidder notifying them that they have won.
IV. Pick up of items is scheduled for Tuesday April 1st between 5PM and 9PM at the Trojan House. The Trojan House is located within “The Frank” complex at Lassiter High School. Please go to the ticket office and let them know that you are picking up an auction item. We will provide a list once the auction is complete. You will not be required to pay admission unless you plan to attend the game.
V. If you are bidding on items that require shipping to your home, please understand that shipping costs will be added to the bid price. We have not factored that into the pricing.
